We ship nationwide across South Africa from our Johannesburg pharmacy.
Delivery options at checkout
Three service levels available on every order — choose at checkout based on speed, cost, and where it suits you to collect.
Locker collection — most affordable, most discreet
Your order ships to a Lockers (formerly PUDO) or Pargo collection point near you — Pep, Postnet, or one of 40+ Engen forecourts nationwide. You collect at your convenience, day or evening, with a code sent to your phone. Best for patients in shared accommodation or where doorstep delivery is not preferred. Typical cost: R55–60. Delivery: 1–4 working days.
Standard door-to-door
The Courier Guy or one of our partner couriers delivers to your home or office address during business hours. Typical cost: R85–110 depending on destination. Delivery: 2–3 working days metro, 3–5 working days outlying areas.
Express overnight
Aramex or SkyNet overnight where available. Best for time-sensitive prescriptions. Typical cost: R150–200. Delivery: next working day to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria and most major centres.
Free shipping
Standard delivery is free on all orders over R750. Locker collection and express remain at the rates above.
Discreet packaging
Every Slumbr parcel ships in unmarked branded packaging. The outside of the box carries only the Slumbr mark and our Johannesburg return address — no product names, no medical information, no medication category visible from the outside. This is non-negotiable and applies equally to non-prescription support and prescription medication.
Prescription medication — additional protocol
Prescription parcels are dispensed by our registered pharmacy after a Slumbr physician has reviewed your consultation and prescription. They ship with a tracking number and require an adult signature on delivery (an 18+ household member is acceptable). Schedule 5 medications cannot be left with a neighbour or in a locker without signed collection.
Tracking
You'll receive a tracking number by email and SMS as soon as your parcel leaves the pharmacy. You can follow the parcel through the courier's tracking portal until delivery.
Outlying areas
Most South African addresses are covered by our courier network at standard rates. A handful of remote postal codes (parts of the Northern Cape, deep rural KwaZulu-Natal, Lesotho-border villages) may attract a small surcharge, which is shown at checkout before payment.
International shipping
Non-prescription Slumbr sleep-support products ship to selected international destinations (United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia) at a flat R310 — typically 7–14 working days, customs charges payable by the recipient. Prescription medication cannot ship outside South Africa — Slumbr's pharmacy registration is South African, and cross-border pharmaceutical dispensing is not permitted.
Returns and refunds
Non-prescription sleep-support products
Under the Consumer Protection Act, you may return any unopened, unused Slumbr non-prescription product within 7 working days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. Return shipping is for your account unless the product was defective on arrival. Please contact hello@slumbrsleepclinic.co.za with your order number to start a return.
Prescription medication
Once a prescription medication has been dispensed by our pharmacy and shipped, it cannot be returned to stock — this is a legal requirement under the SA Pharmacy Council's Good Pharmacy Practice rules. If a prescription parcel arrives damaged or you suspect a dispensing error, contact us immediately and do not use the medication; we will arrange replacement and report the incident to the responsible pharmacist.
Subscription orders
You may pause, skip or cancel any Slumbr subscription at any time from your account — there is no lock-in period and no cancellation fee. Subscription orders already dispatched cannot be cancelled but may be returned under the rules above.
Delivery problems
If your parcel is delayed beyond the windows above, lost, or arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@slumbrsleepclinic.co.za. We will work with the courier to locate the parcel or arrange a resend.
